Flute Auditions at IWU

    VIDEO auditions now being accepted for all instruments and vocalists. Due to recent CDC guidelines on-campus auditions have been suspended for the foreseeable future. To upload your audition video you must first apply to IWU. After submitting your application you will receive an email with instructions for accessing your student status portal. Once you have logged in to your portal you will be able to upload your audition video using the edit portfolio link.     Requirements:     Prepare two selections of solo repertoire (contrasting styles and tempi). One selection may be an etude or study. Be prepared to sight-read. Memorization is not required and auditions are heard unaccompanied.

    What to expect on weekday auditions:
    • Tour of campus
    • Meeting with an admissions counselor
    • Lunch with a music student
    • Ensemble rehearsal
    • Sample lesson
