MULTICULTURAL WEEKEND - FALL 2012

Multicultural Weekend is an excellent opportunity for students who have a sincere interest in IWU to explore the diverse community, learn more about the institution and experience campus life. Participants will have the opportunity to sit in a class, meet with professors, interview with an admissions counselor, participate in IWU clubs and activities, stay the night in a residence hall with current students, eat the food on campus, and meet potential classmates and/or your roommates!

Participants will have the chance to interact with IWU campus leaders from organizations such as Student Senate, BSU (Black Student Union), SALSA (Spanish and Latino/a Student Association), SASA (Southeast Asian Student Association), and SAVVI (a multicultural women's group). Multicultural Weekend begins on Thursday, November 8 (program begins at 9:30pm) and concludes on Saturday, November 10 (program ends at 1pm). The event is free and transportation is provided from most locations. The entire weekend is free of cost.

Please note: high school seniors who have applied for admissions will be given preference (juniors are welcome to apply). Eligibility is also determined by academic qualifications and available space in the program.
