¡TU UNIVERSIDAD! - SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2013
¡TU UNIVERSIDAD! is designed to help Latino/a students and their parents learn more about the University community, the admissions process and all financial aid resources (participants attend an IWU financial aid presentation and FAFSA--free application for federal student aid--workshop). Seniors are encouraged to bring a complete copy of the 2011 or 2012 tax paperwork and information regarding any assets, savings or property value; we strongly recommend you bring the 2012 tax paperwork.
Participants will also meet current students, faculty and staff. Preference will be given to seniors who have applied for admissions, but juniors are also welcome to apply. This program is FREE of cost and transportation may be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Travel vouchers are available for out-of-state students. PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY: will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and requires all information to be complete. All applicants will be contacted by our office no later than Friday, February 8, 2013 regarding their final eligibility. Seniors who have applied for admissions or have been admitted will be given preference. Juniors are welcome to apply. Eligibility is also determined by academic qualifications and available space in the program.
